Editorial Submissions

At StreamingMedia.com, we are always looking for quality articles and editorial submissions from our site visitors. This is your community and you have the chance to influence it. If you are interested in submitting an article or editorial, please read our following guidelines.

What We Are Looking For In Writers
StreamingMedia.com is especially interested in top-notch writers who can make streaming media related technology and business understandable while maintaining accuracy. We like a variety of articles from those that have a business element approach (i.e. case study) to those that are more technical in nature. Our readers also enjoy "how to" articles. Above all, we strive to provide our visitors with articles and editorials that are informative to read while providing useful information to assist in their pursuit and adoption of streaming media technology and applications.

First, Check Out The Articles And Editorials Online At StreamingMedia.com
Study the articles we already have posted on our site. You will find a mixture of topics pertaining to the technology and business of streaming media. Look at the website, see what we have and look for what you feel we may be missing - chose areas where you are most knowledgeable to create topics and angles for stories. If you need some quotes or insight from a particular company or vendor, let us know and we'll put you in contact with them. If you are not sure about an article subject, e-mail us first and we'll provide you some feedback. If you introduce a problem or challenge in your article, then provide ideas or your point of view on how to solve it. Submissions MUST be neutral and unbiased (it can't read like a sales pitch!)

Submission Of Articles Or Editorials To Streamingmedia.com
Before submitting your article, please use our search feature to make sure we don't already have a similar article on the site. Include a title and subhead (i.e. Streaming Media Networks: The Benefit of a CDN). Give a short description of what your article covers. This only needs to be one paragraph and can be included with your bio/resume. If there is a time sensitive nature to your article that we might overlook, point it out to us. As a general rule, articles and editorials should be the word length of 750 to 1500 maximum. We require all submissions to be Microsoft Word PC Word formatted and e-mailed to us as an attachment to snk@bbcjville.com.
